BURGHOL KUBBEH IN YOGURT SAUCE

Kibbeh in yogurt sauce is a comforting & popular Middle Eastern recipe. This is an authentic recipe that all our mother’s loved to make and is super easy to follow

INGREDIENTS

1 packet AlWadi Burghol Kubbeh

4 cups of yogurt

3-4 tbsps starch dissolved in distilled water

1 tsp salt

2 tsps dried mint

1 tsp toasted pine nuts

PREPARATION

 

  1. To prepare the yogurt sauce: place the yogurt in a pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the starch and mix well.
  3. Season with salt and stir frequently until the yogurt and starch mixture begins to boil.
  4. Add the kibbeh to the yogurt sauce and leave to simmer for 10 minutes until the kibbeh float on top.
  5. Garnish with dried mint and pine nuts.
  6. Serve hot with vermicelli rice.
