Pineapple Meatballs

Perfect as an appetizer or for dinner. These sweet and tangy pineapple meatballs are hard to resist and are sure to be a real crowd-pleaser.


1 pack AlWadi meat balls

Salt and pepper to taste 

Chili flakes (optional) 

½ pineapple cut into chunks (or 1 can of pineapple chunks)

2 tablespoons BBQ sauce 

1 tablespoon soy sauce 

1 tablespoon rice vinegar 

1 teaspoon of freshly grated ginger 

Green onions


  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF/175ºC.
  2. Make the sauce by combining the rice vinegar, ginger, soy sauce, and BBQ sauce in a saucepan over medium heat. Simmer the sauce ingredients until thickened (consistency of BBQ sauce)
  3. Chop the pineapple into bite sized chunks
  4. Combine the pineapple and cooked meatballs into the tangy sauce
  5. Garnish with chili flakes and green onion
